Hurricane Andrew was much worse. Then there was the hurricane that hit Mexico Beach, FL on the panhandle - 5 or so years ago. Everything was wiped out below I-10 for miles and miles.

“The Hurricane” was Michael on October 10th 2018, one of only four Cat 5 storms to hit the US since the 1930s.
When we were allowed to return after three weeks, we stopped at the fixed up Gulf country Supervisor of Elections office to vote.
Provisions will be made in the Ft Myers area to vote. But people will have to be proactive to find out exactly where they can cast ballots.
