After the death of Queen Elizabeth and the reunion of the "Fab Four," Prince Harry, Prince William, Meghan Markle, and Kate Middleton, many people were hoping that the brothers and their wives would be able to work out their differences once and for all. However, according to reports, Meghan and Harry returned home to Montecito without mending their relationship with the rest of the family. While Harry confirmed on numerous occasions he and his brother are estranged, it has never been established exactly why the two, who were once very close, stopped talking in the first place. However, a new book claims to know the reason why Prince Harry stopped talking to Prince William before Megxit.
1 A New Book Claims Meghan Mistreated the Staff
In an extract from Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, set to be published by Headline Books on October 6, Valentine Low details how the arrival of Meghan Markle into the world of the royals was a struggle from the start. Low maintains that Harry and his wife's demands prior to and after the royal wedding, and Meghan's treatment of the staff, put Prince William in an uncomfortable position.

"The Cambridge team was not happy and saw it as a deliberate attempt to knock the Cambridges out of the headlines. Relations between the two households became quite tense," Low writes.
4 Harry Also Confirmed He and His Brother Had Drifted Apart
When the full documentary came out, it became clear that William and Harry had drifted apart. "We are certainly on different paths at the moment, but I will always be there for him, as I know he will always be there for me," Harry said, when asked about the rumored rift between him and his older brother.
According to the book William was taken aback by the claims of his sister-in-law. "He realized they were in crisis," Low writes. "The day after the documentary aired, William whatsapped his brother to ask if he could come and see him. This put Harry and Meghan into a spin. What should they do? Initially, Harry was in favor. Then he spoke to his brother again and asked him who he would tell. William explained that he would have to clear his schedule, which would mean telling his private secretary. At that point, Harry said don't come. He was so concerned that William's team would leak the visit to the press that he would rather they did not come than risk it getting into the papers. It highlighted once again the dysfunction at the heart of so many royal relationships and that members of the royal family so rarely pick up the phone and speak to each other directly." Just five months later, Harry and Meghan left the UK and their roles as working royals.

My wife watched the entire Queen’s trip to her burial place at Windsor.
I watched a lot of it also. I was particularly interested in the scenes of the crowds lined up along the way.
The faces were all white. There were no, that is zero black faces and but very few brown faces.

Fortunately William saw right through her immediately. He had her number from the start. When you only have your mom at your wedding something is very wrong. The queen had her number too.
How she has behaved starting with Prince Phillip’s death & onward is unforgivable for the royal family. She gives gold diggers a bad name.
On his “America tour” I thought back then that he was making a huge mistake, meeting with all the wrong people, setting up at that time what I thought was going to be a controversial outcome. I thought it was all about him...and the news WAS all about him for weeks.
He made a huge mistake when he chose Markle, and I understand that he most likely wishes he could go back again, but he has doubled down on her false claims b/c she is his wife. I can’t believe that this farce can last forever, though and at some point there will be a public falling out, although I doubt he will divorce her.
She has spent a lifetime being in and among progressive leftists and seeking titles, “education,” knowing all the “right” people to promote her. She wanted to snag William (literally saw her in a video in her late teens / early 20’s stating this) and did not care one ounce of showing off her fraction of black descent until it became a platform to further her brand.
She literally made moves to gain access to circles to intrude on the Windsors.
It’s pretty obvious she’s had facial surgery to look the way she now appears. Now she has to tan tan tan to gain darker skin tones because that’s now also part of her brand.
She also had a negligent mother.
Harry is his own piece of work and she definitely took advantage. She has become wealthy using him.
However, I DO blame his father for publicly elevating his unfaithfulness to Harry’s mother and not honoring his vows and working to love Diana and YES that was his job first. I understand that Harry’s mother had a string of affairs afterward.
Can you imagine? His father literally married the woman who entered into an adulterous affair and brought her into the royal family and demanded title for her and GOT it. Even though Diana passed away, he never should have married Camilla. No wonder Harry refused to listen to warnings about Meghan Marklez Charles desire to legitimize his marital unfaithfulness caused much damage to his sons, no matter how much he may be sorry for, that caused chaos. Now he is having to pick up the pieces.
Wives can come between brothers but having their own secretary and staff is a sure way to keep a distance. Brits love to gossip and the royal staff is no exception, which can add even more stress and dissolve any relationship in record time. I’m no fan of Megan but I do know how enmeshed and narcissistic the British can be.

Harry was always a mess. He just had a far, far better PR team/clean up crew while he was a working royal.
I agree. Meghan has a MAJOR chip on her shoulder. She cannot resist treating (white) servants like dirt, because it gives her such a rush to be able to order white people around.
Close. I think Harry was always going to choose a brown person to marry. Diana went for brown ones after the divorce, I believe, in a way to be “shocking” and stick her thumb in the eye of the monarchy. Hopefully sticking them with the racism label. Harry resents the monarchy for casting aside his mother, leading to her death. Also why in their interview, the “whispers” of racism. Trying again to make it stick. MM was an affirmative action hire.
