Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions fired back. The count is complete. Final figures after counting 100% of ballots:
Intermediate results of the count of votes in referendums on joining Russia at 21:20
Donetsk People’s Republic - 31.74% of votes counted, 93.95% for Russia
Lugansk People’s Republic - 82% of votes counted, 98.5% for Russia
Zaporozhye region - 94.92% of votes counted, 92.58% for Russia
Kherson region - 76% of votes counted, 86% for Russia
100% of voting ballots in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions have been processed.
All regions voted for joining Russia as subjects.
The Federation Council may meet next week to approve the choice of the residents of these regions.

My last surviving grandparent passed away peacefully this morning. A lot of family was back there (Northern VA) in guarded expectation of this (looked like a bit of a rally was underway), She would have made 105 in December.
The main sadness I feel is that of the ending of an era. I was blessed to have all of them around and in good to reasonable health into my 40’s. Heck, the last of my “greats” were still alive into my college years, and as I’ve probably mentioned before I was held as a child by a great great born before the high water mark of the Confederacy.
When grandmother (”Nanny” to us kids then and as always forever) was born horses still dominated transport, next to nobody had indoor plumbing, she and the family were ravished by the flu (2 siblings, mother and grandfather taken), and all men between approximately 14 and 65 had to possess a shovel and be ready to fall in and rebuild stream crossings after storms because there were no bridges between their area and the nearest decent sized towns. As kids today would say, they hadn’t even invented color then :-)
Hug your loved ones, pay em a visit if they’re old, drop a prayer for all our frens ;-)

We all know the dems cheated. We all know Biden didn’t get 81 million votes. Yes, it was disappointing, but we have come a long way in realizing who is to be trusted and who is not.
