come up with a Plug standard.

The Euroversion sucks - backkwards compatible to stuff that no longer runs.
Tesla’s plug works great cuz the magic piece is on the car, not the phookin handle.

diesel and petrol have two different size spouts.
fine.

But pick a plug standard so a nation wide rollout could be easier.

So now they’re all destroying the auto industry over a pipe-dream of all electric vehicles, huh? We need an “all of the above” strategy to solve our energy problems, not a one size fits all that won’t work. They see a quick jackpot in this all electric scheme and they don’t care about the down the road issues that will arise.

Just when I thought this country couldn’t get more stupid...

"Toyota's Upcoming "bZ3" Sedan Takes Aim At The Tesla Model 3"

Should call it the BZZZT.

That's the sound it'll make as it catches fire and burns your house down.

Electric Cars and Trucks have a place, as do hydrogen cars.

The Govt has used our tax dollars to Subsidize this new Tech and that is maybe ok.

At this time the market can easily decide what is the best value for people.

I only have 3 cars, which is the least I have had for a long time.

Each car has a specific purpose and I drive them depending on that.

I have considered adding an EV to my fleet, but I don’t yet see the benefit.

I never saw the benefit of changing out my incandescent bulbs for mercury filled florescent ones, but today I use mostly LED bulbs because they make all kinds sense, and the Govt did not even have to make me do it.

I still use some incandescent bulbs but that is cause they make better sense in those specific use cases, and it upsets me that the govt is actively trying to ban them

Rooting for Toyota. They are the ONLY company refusing to stop making gas-powered cars, and the Green Nazis are in an uproar over it. So sick of Tesla and its stupid, reckless dependence on batteries. Toyota CEO said much of the world will and should use gas for the forseeable future, and also wants to make cars with Hydrogen fuel cells, etc. And no plans to even stop making Priuses, which are the most efficient fuel cars. Sensible. So of course the left detests them and some are even boycotting them.

We went to South Korea over the summer and I was amazed by how many EVs I saw. You can tell the EVs because they have distinctive plates. But almost all of them were Korean...Hyundai and Kia.

There are so many,I was told, because there are low electricity rates for EVs.

And now for a really good tale......

Last night on Acorn, I watched a New Zealand TV series Brokenwood that features murder mysteries. The plot revolved around a dead man that that been strapped to a table and killed by connection to an electric shock apparatus for treating mental disorders.

The problem was that the old building housing the former mental institution had no electric power and hadn’t had for years. The detectives made a search for power sources and just couldn’t find one

They finally found it. A Tesla was driven to near a window and a cable from the amp rich battery was brought into the room and hooked to the shock machine

We had........ murder by Tesla
