**** At one time I had 36 Reel to Reel tape decks! Big un’s not Mission Impossible sized.
I ran out places to put them and my wife nearly Ran me out of the place! ****
Gents , I can appreciate your situations. Have some 17 cabinet size wind up phonographs/victrolas myself. Domestic harmony may require “culling the herd”. Any suggestions on a methodology for such a reduction?

~60 comics and ~25k regular books (about 80% hardback)....indeed I know the pain of space...I’ve built custom pullout shelfs to optimize space usage.
(also have will instructions on proper auction disposition to reduce any workload there and optimize inheritance)

Big Victrolas with the horns? Certain collectors pay well for them depending on condition. eBay auctions reaches the buyers but shipping not easy. You could post a local/ pick-up listing.
I just put everything that is clutter downstairs in the basement.

My mom and dad corresponded with each other while he was in Vietnam via reel to reel tapes. the player and box of them is stashed away somewhere, I found them in HS and listened to some, I really need to find them again...
