Turns out they wanted the status titles all along, just not the 'life of service.
There's class. And if you have none, you might be Meghan and Harry.
The "non-working" royals, as the matter is delicately put, are in a snit these days because now that the queen is dead, they didn't get the spoils they thought they were entitled to:
According to the New York Post:
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids will not be given His and Her Royal Highness titles — leaving the exiled couple once again “furious” at the royal family over the snub, according to a report.
Harry’s dad, the new King Charles III, has agreed to soon bestow the titles of prince and princess on his California-based grandkids, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, according to the Sun.
But after a week of tense negotiations, he has refused to allow them to be known as HRH, titles that were stripped from their podcasting parents after they abandoned the family and the UK in 2020.
“That is the agreement — they can be prince and princess but not HRH because they are not working royals,” one insider told the UK paper.
The decision follows “a lot of talks over the past week” since Harry’s dad became king the moment his 96-year-old mother died last Thursday.
“They have been relentless since the Queen died,” the insider said of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, saying they “have been insistent that Archie and Lilibet are prince and princess.”
So what are we reading here? That they want the titles and status of royalty, nice high royalty, not some Ruritanian eurochicken title from some long gone dynasty, but don't want to put the work in of being royalty.

Charles has two children who are not royal. They are his stepchildren. They are Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes.
Can’t stand either of them, but do read the articles. And am left completely confused. My understanding is that they KEPT the HMH titles but couldn’t USE them. Not the faintest idea what that means.
Also that they wanted the HMH titles for the children because it had security implications. Now if that meant they intended to use their kids to regain the security they lost since where the kids go at that age, they go, then their snit might make sense because they thought they’d come up with a Hail Mary play and it didn’t work out the way they’d planned.
Give it time. There is still the race card to be played.

Maybe Archie could be given the title of Duke of Ruritania...but only if he starts assuming some royal duties.
I’m more curious to see what Charles does about Andrew.
It was later reported Harry was disallowed to wear his military uniform to the funeral. However, just days later, King Charles III did a 180-degree flip and now Harry can wear his military uniform to the funeral.
Making matters worse, Meghan & Harry continue violating Royal Family custom by always publicly holding hands during all Royal Family funeral-related ceremonies. Harry has also written a tell-all book about his Royal Family life that will soon be published. Royal Family experts say they expect that Harry, in his book, criticizes King Charles, Queen consort Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate.
No matter how many different ways Meghan & Harry attack and bash the Royal Family, it seems King Charles III continues kissing Harry & Meghan's arses. (Maybe that's because King Charles wants the Royal Family to be more "woke." That seems the only reasonable explanation for King Charles continually caving in to Meghan & Harry.)
As the far-left "woke mob" Democrats/RINOs often like to say: Duchess Meghan is "leaning in" against the "despicably" "racist" Royal Family, including King Charles III, Queen consort Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate. But where's Harry's and Meghan's actual evidence of Royal Family racism? Where's the "woke mob's" actual evidence that President Trump is "racist?" As usual, there's literally zero evidence ... typical "woke" liars and con-artists, just like all far-left Democrats/RINOs. Remember the stolen election?
Has Charles protected/coddled Harry his whole life? Might be the problem if so. I am constantly amazed at how these two are allowed to intrude and disrupt.
The Royal Whore has a nice ring to it.
