I agree. While I love what DeSantis is saying and, even more importantly, doing, there is something about his body language and demeanor that strikes me as insincere. I hope I am wrong. It reminds me of how the cowboys in the old west used to get the horse herds to follow them into a box canyon and then fence off the exits.

Same here. I have loved what he says and what he does but the lack of attacks by the left have me concerned. He has a lot to do to convince me that he’s a young Trump. There is something that tickles my BS radar. Maybe it’s because he’s more polished than Trump and I like President Trumps “out there” straight forward manner. It’s going to take a lot to make me trust another polished politician with their funeral director way of speaking.

I lean a lot more toward liking him than not, but with caution right now.
