If she had a positive group b strep culture prior to delivery (the most common indication for antibiotics during labor) and refused antibiotics she carelessly and callously endangered her infants life to prove whatever she was trying to prove. Without antibiotics those infants need be be monitored closely for 48 hours. With strep sepsis they crash and die within hours. I get it that people here hate doctors but she was wrong here and bet her child’s life on it.

Thank you for the precise explanation
Candace tried to make it sound like hospital staff purposefully singled her out because of her stance on Covid
I don’t believe most of what she describes as factual

You can blame the covid vax for distrust in medical professionals. Putting ego aside, it's pretty hard to claim the vaxes have been anything but a disaster. Unfortunately, too many people have such huge egos that they can't put it aside.
I do data analytics for a living. The data is clear. The vaccines are killing people and provide little to no benefit for younger people. Until the medical community can accept and acknowledge the facts honestly, trust is not deserved. I don't go to doctors that can't do basic research.

To be anti-Covid-vaccine nowadays is an All or nothing venture.
All medical treatment is iffy or unnecessary.
All medical personnel are against you.
All medical care that fails to follow the Twitter School of Medicine protocol is suspicious.
As if there are no God Loving God Fearing Conservatives among medical professionals.

I understand what you’re driving at, but that assertion is simply not true.
Regarding the article, the reported circumstances surrounding the “right wing commentator’s” stay warrant additional info. And that’s not to challenge the veracity of your insights & experience on the matter.

A friend of mine had beta strep and her baby came down with meningitis 2 weeks later. Was in the icu for a while. He developed brain damage, with some developmental delays.

She also proudly boasts that none of her children have ever been vaccinated for anything because “they are healthy”. IOW – she’s an idiot.

(No. I am not a doctor nor have I ever played one on TV. The MD in my screen name stands for Maryland)
