Got any good ones? 🤪😆
Experts, who have partially translated one of the carvings, say it reads “There once was a man from Nantucket . . . .
There once were some carvings in stone,
Whose presence were always unknown,
And then, as they say, in the light of the day,
Their presence were suddenly shown.
Old guys revisited.
There was a young lady from Natchez
Whose clothes were covered in patches.
When asked why it was
She said “Twas because
When I itches, I scratches.”
There was a young thief from Des Moines
Who happened to get kicked in the groin.
When asked what caused it
He said “the Hoss did it.”
And nevermore could purloin.
I was thinking it is a prehistoric limerick... 🤓
Those are all groaners...
I just hope they don’t find any carvings in the land of Pun...
Ok. That thing that looks like a tree, with a very obvious incised carving. That is not the new carving, is it? For some reason I can’t bring up the pic.
The carvings were a Limerick.
“There once was a maiden from Stonehedge....”
There once was a high-ranking Druid
Whose sexuality was fluid
He was asked would he try
With a girl or a guy?
He said give me both and I’ll do it
