Joe Biden's "soul of the nation" Independence Hall speech apparently didn't go over the way he thought it would go over with the voters.
That's the only conclusion one can reach now that he's walking back his grandly staged production's bloodcurdling message about President Trump's supporters being "threats to democracy."
According to the New York Post:
“Do you consider all Trump supporters to be a threat to this country?” a reporter asked Biden at the end of his only scheduled public remarks of the day.
“Come on, look, guys, you keep trying to make that case. I don’t consider any Trump supporter to be a threat to the country,” Biden said.
“I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence, fails to condemn violence when it is used, refuses to acknowledge when an election has been won, insists upon changing the way in which they can count votes, that is a threat to democracy.”
Biden added, “When people voted for Donald Trump and support him now, they weren’t voting for attacking the Capitol, they weren’t voting for overruling an election, they were voting for a philosophy he put forward.

Joe didn’t write that speech; his fascist handlers did. I wonder if we will ever really know who they are. Maybe Jill will write a book if she ever gets tired of her husband being used like a doormat. Not that he’s worth standing up for.

I’ll never forget watching live when he yelled at reporter about his grades. I thought he was finished as a politician after that. So slimy.
Until he does another “soul of the nation” speech, with the same publicity, the same prime time slot, he has walked nothing back. He needs a second speech where he tells his sycophantic followers he was wrong in every point and wrong in the whole Wagnerian style of presentation. So far, he has done nothing but light the fuse on a terrible bomb of domestic hatred.
That, of course was and is his intent.
The speech was better in the original German!
Joe Biden’s history reads like a rap sheet rather than a resume.

“C’mon man, are you a junkie? You’re a lying dog faced pony soldier. I didn’t intend to start this nuclear annihilation of the cities in the USA and Russia, I just meant to nuke Vladimir Putin who was a threat to peace in Europe after the United States provoked Russia into war by expanding NATO when we promised not to.”
They’ve been telling us who they really are since the 1940s… They showed us who they really are in 1917… And they’ve been telling us what they’re going to do to us ever since.
It’s way past time to believe them
He’s trying to spark an insurrection. Quick, let’s launch a committee in congress and get the DOJ to start a special investigation and Garland can recuse himself so as not to impede the independence of the investigation.
