For anyone who may need a giggle this morning...
Hope to have something to show after the weekend. I have an English Paper Piecing project that I work on in the evenings when I can stay awake! I’m also working on a memory quilt, this one is custom and it stumps me. The T shirts are black and have rhinestones in various colors and then there is the fabric (multi-colored floral) that the family chose. I also have to incorporate a piece of the son’s clothing. He passed about three months after his mother. This is the last of a series of quilts for my friend’s children (and each one has something of their brother’s in the quilt). This will take forever to quilt since you can’t run over the rhinestones with a long arm and I’m a relatively new long armer. I have one more quilt to make after this one but I think I can take an existing pattern and plug the clothing into it.

Please ignore my bland bedroom - I'm trying to get MOTIVATED to paint it and put up the new artwork, wall-mounted reading lamps and big area rug to tone down that Bubblegum Pink carpeting - which was here when I moved in!

I love the Primitive Hare’s designs and linen.
Just wish I could get new eyeballs.
What I did find was a crocheted pillow with a felt tooth on it that's pretty cute. The pillow design is 'easy' - all one piece, no sewing two halves together. It's 6" diameter so you can whip one up pretty quick.
The tooth is cut out of felt, decorated, & hot glued to the pillow. The pattern includes a tooth 'template' you can print off and use to get the shape right. I downloaded/printed and it works great.
Changes: only one. After looking at a bunch of patterns, I am putting the pocket for the tooth/money on the back of the pillow. The pattern shows money sticking out of the felt tooth on the front, but a real tooth could easily get lost. A square/rectangular pocket of felt on the back, for the tooth/money seems more practical to me. I'll decorate it up a bit, too ... should be cute.
I've already whipped up two pillows using cotton yarn scraps & I have plenty more yarn. There are two more pillows to do for 'greats' who aren't losing teeth yet, but they will. Yard sale this year in October again - could whip up a pillow or two or three & see if they'd sell - I have plenty of felt for making the tooth/pockets.
Here's the pattern link:

I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and they were clearing out a LOT of fabric and marking it for clearance. A lot of it at $3 - $4 per yard and lots of cotton poly for quilting.
I’m guessing this is a company wide happening, not just my local store.
I thought you may want to ping out the thread in case anyone feels they don’t have enough fabric already.
