I start with asking a LEFTist if they are pro-democracy. That is an easy one and they cannot resist proclaiming their dedication to it! [Opening the trap door]
I then ask them the leading question about the definition of democracy being the people voting? [Baiting the trap]
When that is agreed to, I ask why then are these LEFT shibboleths like statues, monuments, names etc. NOT VOTED upon before destruction? Is that not ANTI-democracy? [Snap, the trap is sprung]

One thing I’d love to propose for any debate between LEFT and non-LEFT is a small limit to language. If the LEFT is going to insist on that pronoun WEAPON, let us respond with our own weapon of language; a buzzer to sound with each use of that perennial of LEFTist vocabulary, the ‘_ist’ modifier.
Imagine that, used to death, duo of “... racist, sexist ...” reduced to “... raciBZZZ, sexiBZZZ ...”! the speaker will be tongue-tied and near inarticulate. Probably sound like Pennsylvania’s John Fetterman (’D’onkey Party)!

The opposing speaker may be a contemptible liar upon whom we are prepared to unload. But the real target is the audience. The liar will be presenting himself as the reasonable person in the room, lying with a smile and telling the audience what it wants to hear. If a conservative just tries to blowtorch him, the conservative usually comes across as a disagreeable loon. The trick is how to expose the liar before the audience in a way that moves the audience our way.

There are 350 million people in the USA. the AF has 2,000 combat aircraft. The is 1 aircraft per 175,000 citizens. There is not enough Army and Af to enforce marsh law on NJ let alone THE ENTIRE USA.
