Webb X-O Planet Ping!..................
It looks hot. Possibly a class Y (Demon planet).
Going to need abestos suits for that one.
We need a bigger telescope. The images are blurry.
Almost as big as a brown dwarf and newly formed—it’s glowing in more than just infrared.
The star is 385 light years away from us - couldn’t they find a closer star with a planet around it? Alpha Centauri, maybe?
With the IR imaging frequencies, can the surface temperature be estimated?
These look remarkably like Halton Arp’s photos of Quasars associated with galaxies, an observation which overturns virtually all of academic cosmology by refuting the red shift hypothesis for variance in observed spectra of the quasars versus their companion galaxies.
For example, all the distances, relative velocities and computed masses of distant objects are WRONG.
Oops.
And no more “Dark matter” either. Bogus as the Steele dossier.
Better minds than mine are on this but I’d love to see what they could find around proxima centuri. It’s the next nearest star and it’s planets might be resolvable to a better degree than this view.
gee!! ...what a spectacular view!! Wtf even bother???
