Yup Amazon & co. threw correct timelines to the wind and their maps werent much help. The early battle scenes with Finrod would be First Age but thats not disclosed and neither is there any clue what Age their Rings story is taking place. They only mention Centuries Passing.

I’m sure theres going to be a lot of criticisms to come as this series progresses, to me its at least an attempt at trying to bring “life” thru film to more of his life’s work to the general public.

everyone blames the governor of New York for putting infectious covid patients back into nursing homes, but you know, he was probably following the advice of the state doctors in charge of making policy, who pointed out the Medicare rule was that you had to send the patient back to the same nursing home after hospitalization, and since the bureaucrat who made the rule assumed that nursing home personnel were highly skilled and had plenty of protective equipment, that this should not have been a problem.

Of course, anyone who ever worked in these nursing homes knew this was absurd.

Yet that trans doc from Pennsylvania who was behind that state's governor advised the same thing, and as a result an estimated 20 thousand died. But since he is trans you can't criticize him.

I will repost what I put on another thread last night below when I got back to my hotel. Shortly I'm headed back home from CT.

Nothing like going to a Trump rally live. It's so great to be in one place with thousands of like-minded patriots. There was not one negative experience today. Everybody was super friendly and helping each other out when needed. The lines to get in were incredibly long, snaking out into the parking lot but nobody was cutting the line or getting angry.

Once I got in the arena, the time flew by even though I was in there for nearly six hours. The candidates running for PA offices all did a fine job speaking. Even Oz, who came across as a rather decent guy. Mastriano is the real deal. He could become another DeSantis.

The largest applause however (other than for Trump) went to Majorie Taylor Greene. She is a real rock star. Even outside the arena, she was mobbed wherever she went. She is somebody to watch in national politics.
