Yea well I didnt want to give away exactly what she did in the last scene
The Noldorin Elves were furious that, in Valinor, Morgoth took the Silmarils and split for Middle Earth BEFORE the First Age.
Yup Amazon & co. threw correct timelines to the wind and their maps werent much help. The early battle scenes with Finrod would be First Age but thats not disclosed and neither is there any clue what Age their Rings story is taking place. They only mention Centuries Passing.
I’m sure theres going to be a lot of criticisms to come as this series progresses, to me its at least an attempt at trying to bring “life” thru film to more of his life’s work to the general public.
And Hobbits sort of (literally) rise from the ground. Well, OK; their origins are never made clear; but why do they look so scruffy and unkempt? The scenes of 'Men' in that episode are more reminiscent of 'Hobbit Town'.
So far, from what I have seen, 'Men' are a rag tag lot that must be watched and not trusted. Odd that some Elvish nobility should want to comingle with such a seedy bunch, even procreate with them - to the loss of their immortality.
Despite all that, I can't help but enjoy fantasy productions (of a 'human' sort! Forget all those super heroes. 😕)
