VAL DEMINGS, a Democratic candidate running against Marco Rubio for the U.S. Senate for Florida, has starred in El American’s Idiocy of the Week, twice!
Within days of each other, Val Demings’s Spanish-language Twitter account posted two messages with serious misspellings. After the embarrassment and widespread derision, the tweets have been deleted, but one of them read “¿Pedo [sic] contar con su apoyo?”, and the other one read “enviemos a una aleada [sic] de los Venezolanos al senado [sic]”.
It is very ironic (and revealing) that the Democrats, who always talk big about diversity and inclusion, do not have any Latinos to manage their Twitter account, or at least one who knows how to write in Spanish correctly.
Beyond how hilarious it is that they let slip a “fart” for a “can” — this also contradicts the Democrat environmentalist discourse on greenhouse gas emissions — or that the “aleada” leaves Val Demings’ Spanish Twitter account in Spanish as somewhat “alelada”, what is really serious is the Democrat hypocrisy in setting themselves up as defenders of those harmed by Nicolás Maduro, since in practice they are the party that allies itself with the Venezuelan regime, and in theory they are the ones who share ideals and objectives with the radical socialist governments of the region.
Val Demings doesn’t know how to talk to Latinos
These linguistic lapses could actually be interpreted as a clear sign of the dissonance that exists between the Democrats’ discourse and their actions. It is becoming increasingly clear to Latinos that the Democrats are getting tongue-tied every time they try to speak Spanish, and it is seen as a pathetic and desperate attempt to hold on to the Hispanic vote.
Democrats fail miserably every time they engage in Latino posturing. Sometimes consciously, as when they say “latinx“, compare Latinos to tacos, or think “see say pway day”; and sometimes unconsciously, as when they slip in “pedo” or “aleada.”
Every time they address Latino voters they exude ignorance about the Latino culture and, to top it all off, it is cloaked in paternalism and condescension. It seems evident that as the mid-term elections approach and the good results and projections of the Hispanic Republican candidates in all the electoral contests become more and more evident, the Democrats are getting more and more nervous and making more and more mistakes.
To improve their electoral results with Latinos, Democrats should move from words to deeds. The problem for them is not that their words talk about inclusion and diversity, but that their actions do not reflect it. The problem is that they don’t even know how to use Spanish words correctly, making it harder and harder for them to convince Latinos, who increasingly understand – from their own experience – the meaning and consequences of the Democrats’ socialist policies.
At this rate, the meme that the best campaign Republicans can run is to “let the Democrats talk” is going to become a reality. Arguably, the best “aleada” Marco Rubio has in his Senate bid is Val Demings herself trying to speak Spanish.

Anyone pissing and moaning about Rubio needs to STFU, he ran unopposed in the Republican primary. This is the alternative. Demings shows the demo-fascists in all their glorious stupidity. Having an affirmative action candidate, who knows nothing of Latin culture, reaching out in a condescending manner. Typical demo-fascist.
We are not even within the living constitution after 2020.
Whoever is man enough to stand up and fulfill the Oath and has the power and/or influence necessary is who should make the determination.
Civil war may or may not be necessary and it may or may not be part of the plan but it would be far better than doing nothing while Brandon & Co. burn the country down with no opposition.

I believe that the People will be called to action at the right time, and I suspect Trump himself will suggest a solution. So far, the largest suggestion has been citizen involvement as poll watchers and working with state legislature to clean up the process. I might even see a general strike suggested at some point.

Hell, no! The Founding Generation would have been shooting by now! And that would have been after Committees of Correspondence (Tea Parties), Continental Congresses (CPAC) and Minute Men preparing to react to federal overreach. But the Founders didn't have to deal with a standing army, something they explicitly banned in the Constitution for a length of more than two years. The federal entity broke out of the constitutional prison that James Madison designed for it during the Progressive Era.
I would suggest reading Federalist #46 by Maidson for how the states could resist an out-of-control federal entity.

About 5 years ago, I had a cockroach fly at me as I opened a kitchen cabinet in my Brooklyn apartment. He was big, about 3 1/2 inches long.
He was my first (and so far only) flying cockroach. Freaked me out! I thought, “If they can fly, there’s no hope for us.”
You don't know that. You're filtering the Q message through your own personal biases. I mean no disrespect, but I think you're on the wrong track here. The people would not support a military coup unless their collective backs were against the wall, and the alternative was something like a nuclear conflict. Maybe that's the scare event.

True. But just as the coup didn't look like an actual coup, the countercoup can't look like an actual countercoup. There needs to be a narrative for the people and the history books, and an open military coup would set off an explosion that would echo for decades, or even centuries, throughout American history. It would be a bad example.
