Three Arkansas law enforcement officers have been suspended after outrage at a video showing two deputies and an officer striking a suspect under arrest.
Cops said Randall Worcester, 27, was making threats to a convenience store worker in Mulberry, near Little Rock, on Sunday morning.
Police said when the officers confronted him, he pushed a deputy to the ground and punched the back of his head, leading to the arrest seen in the clip.
But footage showed the three officers on top of him, repeatedly striking him with clenched fists.
The video was posted to Snapchat with the stunned account asking who they needed to send it to.
Crawford County Sheriff Jimmy Damante issued a statement Sunday evening, saying two county deputies were suspended in the state police's investigation into the incident and the sheriff's office's internal review. A Mulberry police officer also was suspended.
'I hold all my employees accountable for their actions and will take appropriate measures in this matter,' Damante said.

After he was on the ground and cuffed, I would NOT pound his head on the pavement.
This was anger, not police work. Police can’t unload on a person like that.
But, you immediately think the Police are right, because it was a video taken by a bystander. You automatically assume that someone thinking this was bad would not be supportive of the police—or understand their daily issues and/training.
Banging a person’s head on concrete is not in any police manual. Except maybe in Russia or China.
“Police said when the officers confronted him, he pushed a deputy to the ground and punched the back of his head, leading to the arrest seen in the clip.”
I do not have a problem with their response to a person who does this to an officer without a damn good reason other than they think its totally acceptable to do so.
The restraint is they didn’t shoot the attacking person.
Read my history, I am not a universal cheerleader for police. This guy thought stomping on a cop was great. He got stomped on back. Perhaps he will think twice about doing so next time.
The world is full of a$$holes. Why? Because people let them get away with it.
Ah, but he wasn’t cuffed...and wasn’t complying......great armchair quarterbacking. I’ll wait until all the facts come out.
Idiot journalist think every place in Ark is “near” Little Rock.
We know what the cops say happened before the video started. So no, we have no idea.
Show me any manual that has “head slamming into concrete”.
I’ll wait.
If the guy was on PCP, then yes force is totally necessary.
“Just another goon squad. Looks like fbi training.“
So you are ok with thugs attacking police officers?
I would expect to be shot if I did so.

Force is not a beating like that. We need to define force.
