Just to create a public record of the absolute stupidity of the people who are moderators at F-Book—assuming they are people at all—I am going to share my history of posts over the past year that resulted in my account being restricted.
Here's the first one, posted September 29, 2001, during the height of the COVID vaccine mandate foolishness:
Want to know what this video is? See below. It's an undercover video from Project Veritas showing two employees from Johnson and Johnson expressing doubts about their company's vaccine.
[Insert video here]
If anything, the supposed "false information" on this video is being provided by employees of Johnson & Johnson. So are we to assume that 60 Minutes-style undercover reporting is now considered against F-Book's community standards? Or only if they don't like what is revealed?
The next one is this, also posted on September 29, 2001:
No idea what this is about. Given the date, it may be another posting of the same video. The funny thing is -- I don't remember F-Book restricting my account on either of these occasions. They may have given me hidden demerits for my bad behavior retroactively and not informed me.
The next one requires a little context. This was posted on October 5, 2021 in response to something I read on the Amanpour and Company F-Book page. Don't ask me what I was doing there. I'm guessing the post showed up in my feed because F-Book likes to give their favored narrative-builders additional free play. In any event, the original post was one of those disgraceful elitist feeding-frenzies from last fall calling for all sorts of exotic, unconstitutional punishments to be meted out to the most wicked pariahs among us, the vaccine hesitant—otherwise known as independent thinkers. I posted this as an absurd, sarcastic rebuttal to one of the more egregious of these comments:
But of course, the F-Book bot-mods don't understand sarcasm.
And apparently, they don't understand colloquial usage of certain terms between friends. Just today, I got 24 hours in the cooler for this terrifying post:
Did you catch that? Do you understand why this post violates F-Book's community standards? I had to read it through three or four times before I got it. Yes, someone (or something) at F-Book interpreted my invitation for my friend's son to come visit my boys as a terroristic threat.
If the soulless morons running Big Tech have their way, this is the world we're headed for:
No humor allowed.
Absolutely no sarcasm allowed.
No unapproved opinions allowed—and we won't apologize to you if said opinions turn out to be facts later on.
You will be told how you may use language.
If you use unapproved words (even ones that were fine for centuries), you will be punished.
You are guilty until proven innocent.
We will track all your sins (and anything we say is a sin, but isn't) and keep a record of them.
Your punishment starts immediately, but your appeal will be heard in 2-3 weeks.
Maybe.
If we feel like it.
Probably not.
I do not remember 2001 being that way until Sept 11.
I’ve been getting the violating community standard warnings for posts that aren’t in the least political or offensive, and yet posts with with profanity and other vile content continue to be posted...
>> These people must NOT be allowed to run our civilization.
Certainly, but decades of television, Hollywood, and the MSM have been far more damaging. At least today, there’s a trail of the tyrannical censorship the likeminded can identify and workaround.
We have plenty of options providing we’re willing to let go of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
You can guess the result of that one. By then I was convinced I was assigned my own personal Fbook troll (it was struck down in about 8 minutes).
It contained such pushing the envelope information as "store hours", contact information, how to get to the store, that we did host evening events for clubs, crafters and gamers, special events like author signings and odd literary facts.
As you can see I was truly dancing on the edge.
One morning my account was closed. For "suspicious activity".
I asked what I had done.
No answer. I asked what I could do to get my account back on line.
They said I needed to submit a picture. Of me.
I asked why.
They said they believed the account was not for a real person.
I said no duh, it was an account for a business.
They still said they wanted a picture. Of me.
I told them what they could do with themselves. A thorn bush was involved.
Won’t disagree with that.
The next one is this, also posted on September 29, 2001:
Regards,
Liberals have absolutely NO sense of humor, which is what makes it so much fun for people like The Babylon Bee.
Oddly enough I only use Facebook to stay in touch with old school friends
I go to other sites for politics
I quit Fakebook on January 1st, 2022 and I’m proud of myself for staying away.
It used to be my first thing I did in the morning, while pounding my coffee.
“I do not remember 2001 being that way until Sept 11.”
Probably Bush started the ball rolling when he told us that Islam is a religion of peace. That’s when we entered Bizarro World — bad became good, wrong became right, etc.
After about 3 weeks I noticed my posts were still restricted and only I could see them. So I made a post making fun of FB and calling them out for their hypocrisy. About an hour later, the restriction was lifted and they “apologized.”
I hate FB and rarely visit any more except to post articles about Joke Biden and the POS Dumbocrats.
The vain person (Me! Me! Me!) wrote year 2001 twice during his whine.
Fuel: $4.15 a gallon
Full tank: $140.00
Drive off from gas station without paying: court date 6 weeks later and $80 fine.
Savings: $60.00
You’re welcome!
FB said: “Your post goes against our community standards on coordinating harm and promoting crime.” 🤣
i was wondering if you could do some kind of cloward-piven on the big tech giants
assemble an army of people who will post messages that will be banned
its coordinated so they all post at the time
but dont stop there
they have multiple accounts so as soon as they are banned they are posting on another account
would be an interesting experiment
crash the system? or the messages get viewed
LOL. That’s obviously a typo.
Interesting idea. I am guessing that most of the banning is done by AI bots automatically. The appeals process is probably handled by actual humans, which is why they process so few of them.
