Men are lonelier than ever as they struggle to meet the higher dating standards of modern women, according to a psychologist.
American psychologist Greg Matos wrote in a recent Psychology Today article that the current state of young and middle-aged men's love lives shows they need to 'address a skills deficit'.
He said: 'I hear recurring dating themes from women between the ages of 25 and 45: They prefer men who are emotionally available, good communicators, and share similar values'.

Yeah, I agree that that self-confidence is what is being branded as “toxic masculinity”.
Boys have been so beat down from childhood about their masculinity that it’s ridiculous. It’s small wonder some of them just give up.
FWIW, when a MAN holds a door for me I ALWAYS look him in the eye and say “Thank you very much”. I know men who got shredded by vile feminists for showing simple common courtesy to the point where they didn’t even bother to hold the door for women any more.
I can only oppose that kind of toxic feminism a little at a time and I do so.
Their problem is they aren’t red pilled.

I believe that it has to do with associating with me reduces her chance of getting somebody who she wants, so she wants to quickly dissassociate herself with me to make herself available to an opportunity if one arises.
Well kind of. 80% of men are invisible to women, you probably fall into that category to the ones that do that. Its most likely nothing really to do with immediate opportunity, its just at a glance she has already decided you’re invisible.
And men want women for sex.
They don’t love men. They love what men do for them.
Same for men who demand that their women, whom they think they own, make them a sammich, as if her sole purpose in life is to wait on the man hand and foot and perform when it’s demanded of them.
You know, I am under the impression that you consider yourself a Christian, yet at every turn you actively and vehemently oppose God’s plan and design for mankind, that is marriage and a godly family.
How can you call yourself a Christian when you so diametrically oppose God in such an extreme manner, actively discouraging and opposing what He has blessed?
You are poisoning the waters for any man who is interested in a relationship with women with your anger, bitterness, and resentment, and yes, outright hatred of women.
Then you are the exception because men have no problem sowing their oats, and yet demanding purity of the women they are interested in.
God’s standard is for moral purity sexually until marriage for both men and women, not women only.
Back in her mid 20s when I first met her, I thought my wife-to-be was about an 8.
Forty years later, she is no longer the young woman with the perky breasts I first met, but every day she makes an effort to make me happy. I think i made out better than most men.

Christian men shouldnt marry non christian modern women who clearly act and behave as pagan unbelievers. Modern women are hardly virtuous upright Christian women. The typical modern “christian” woman isn’t a virgin at the altar nowadays. Single moms aren’t virtuous. Women who just want a wallet aren’t virtuous.
Oh, and women want a man for sex too, especially given the level of female cheating and paternity fraud. You like to think that’s one sided and somehow equals all the rest of the things a man brings to the table. So many guys end up in sexless dry marriages today they never would have gotten married if they were told they couldn’t be intimate with their wife. No man gets married to stop having sex. A marriage without sex is called “having a roommate.” You don’t need a marriage contract for a roommate.
You can get a divorce granted for that, withholding sex is emotional abuse and abandonement and has always been grounds for a fault divorce. For either partner.
Yup, you’ll clean up their messes for them. If you want to, fine. More power to you. Most modern women today, younger than your wife, do not look upon such behavior with gratitude, but instead with entitlement and demanding it, while they don’t think they need to do anything themselves.
Show your girlfriend that loser remark and you’ll have no one. 😆
The issue is today you never know who you are holding the door open for so men are just tired of risking it. Men go to jail on womens heresay. Its just not worth it. Guys have changed womens tires and later on the woman has lied and said they damaged her car (nothing to do with the tire) and now he has to deal with that. Not worth it.
That’s why she decided I was invisible, to cut off any opportunity for me. I’m not bothered by that, because the trade-off is that I get to live my life on my terms.
I agree completely that stupid and destructive conduct, inclusive of both getting drunk and hooking up, is something that should be avoided by everyone.
Marriage exists because it was ordained by God.
