Yeah, I agree that that self-confidence is what is being branded as “toxic masculinity”.
Boys have been so beat down from childhood about their masculinity that it’s ridiculous. It’s small wonder some of them just give up.
FWIW, when a MAN holds a door for me I ALWAYS look him in the eye and say “Thank you very much”. I know men who got shredded by vile feminists for showing simple common courtesy to the point where they didn’t even bother to hold the door for women any more.
I can only oppose that kind of toxic feminism a little at a time and I do so.
The issue is today you never know who you are holding the door open for so men are just tired of risking it. Men go to jail on womens heresay. Its just not worth it. Guys have changed womens tires and later on the woman has lied and said they damaged her car (nothing to do with the tire) and now he has to deal with that. Not worth it.
