Thank you for your prayers we are still working on this. Passport pickup is delayed, some from August 13 interview are still not ready. So she will need a place to stay. I took a nap - exhausted from being up so many nights as there is a 7 hour difference in time. I thought of churches and then I thought of a Carmelite monastery we are close to and know them well. They are going to try and communicate in the morning with a Carmelite monastery in Warsaw that is not far from her hotel. She will have to leave the hotel Saturday morning. So please pray we can find some help to take her in. I had already checked hostels and other aid agencies. There is lots of aid for Ukranians but not Belarussians when there are 150,000 of them who fled across the border when this conflict first happened. So these are desperate times for many. If you can please pray first that her passport will be ready for pickup tomorrow and if not that help can come from this avenue we are pursuing. The Sisters know Anya they have seen her many times on visits over the 20 years we have hosted her. They will do whatever they can to help get her picked up.

You appear to think your handle and history of posting pretty pictures should persuade us not to investigate further into the chemtrail phenomenon.
You seem to say, "Stay stupid, FRiends! Take my word that I've done the research and there's just no there there!" Proving the non-existence of such a thing demands a far more rigorous effort.
I've got several pretty pictures, too, even a collection of chemtrail evidence. There's plenty of "there there."
No skywriter would waste his or her personal time, nor would anyone pay such a person to create patterns in the sky such as the one below if they were nonsensical, frivolous and had no expense-worthy (at thousands of dollars per hour) purpose:
An MD-83 that regularly flew a route through repeatedly-traced chemtrail residue developed a jackscrew grease issue was downed over 20 years ago (1/31/2000) near the coast of California, killing 88 passengers and crew. Despite extreme cost to life, reputation and aircraft, the government covered it up and continues with "chemtrail" experiments (though it was greatly curtailed in the Trump years).
Don't bother sharing any "more" of your apparently unproductive "chemtrail research." There appears to be no there there.

Do folks there have greenhouses?
I have seen a couple f small greenhouses in town but from the look of it they have not been very productive.
There are some, ahem, indoor grow operations. Nothing major. People do garden furiously in the summer and there is Farragut Farm across Frederick Sound on the mainland. They bring a small boatload of excellent produce once a week in the summer.
We have a fair size supermarket here with the usual selection of name brands and more or less fresh produce shipped up by air or barge from Washington.
However, the supply chain does break down from time to time and there will be no dairy products; or no meat. Fresh veggies are sometimes not available, especially in the winter.
The inconveniences help keep [most of] the riff-raff out. I love it.
