When I was but a wee lad growing up in So Cal, there were ads on TV saying, “How do you spell potato”? And the answer would come back as”I-D-A-H-O”. Alas that campaign ended abruptly when Moms got up in arms because their little ones would proclaim loudly, “Hey, mom, I know how to spell potato”.
