A photo of a Thrall police officer posing with Kyle Rittenhouse that was posted to the department’s official Facebook account has begun circulating on social media, sparking outrage.
The photograph, posted on Thursday, shows Rittenhouse grinning next to an unnamed Thrall officer in front of a vehicle.
“Make those stops, you never know who you might meet,” the post reads. “Today it was Kyle Rittenhouse, welcome to Texas.”
About six hours later, the post was edited by the Central Texas police department after intense backlash.
The edited post read: “I must have missed something, I believe that this young man was arrested, charged, indicted and then found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Is this not how our country works anymore? The hate in these comments is terrible, if you have information that is contrary to that I would honestly love to hear it.”

Unfortunately, the paywall was stopping me from uninterrupted reading. The quote from the article that I cited in post #18 sounded like a cave. If I am wrong, I stand corrected.
Naturally I don’t do Facebook, so I do not know what the police department edited or did not edit on that post.
But I read the entire article. And I’m reading the rest of the replies on this thread which seem to agree the police department stopped comments on that FB post. But they did not take it down.
I think you are jumping the gun in calling the police department names.
Dude, forget “not reading the article”, did you not read my post? I TRIED to read the article, but I’m not going to spend 20 minutes bouncing in and out of a paywall.

Let’s be clear what Facebook “outrage” means.
Outrage is some spaghetti-arm soi boy in mommy’s basement who illegally hacked into hundreds or thousands of computers and dumped malware.
That illegal malware has given soi boy control of hundreds of computers. He uses these illegaly captured computers to post tweets or e-mails to pretend that hundreds of people are upset about something.
Soi boy is a criminal engaged in stealing a computer to use for his criminal purposes. States need to pass laws making it criminal to inject malware into a computer.
I’d go for 10 years in prison for each computer infected by soi boy, for each count and to run consecutively. Conservatives need to get up to speed in order to prosecute the facebook and twitter leftist scum abusing computer owners.
