An Arizona Wendy's worker is facing assault charges after he sucker-punched a 67-year-old customer in the head after he complained about his order.
Surveillance video shows the moment Antoine Kendrick, 35, comes out from behind the register and punches the customer, knocking him unconscious. The elderly man then falls to the ground.
Kendrick looks at the victim as he lies on the ground before then walking behind the counter, grabbing a few items and walking away.
Police claim the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The alleged assault occurred on July 26 at the Wendy's in Prescott Valley.
The unsuspecting customer was licking his frosty when Kendrick came from behind the counter and punched him in the head.
Police told AZ Family the man hit his head and was knocked unconscious as he fell to the ground. The victim was life-flighted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Kendrick was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.
Other restaurant patrons described the vicious hit as 'horrible' and 'pretty hard.'
'That was a pretty hard hit. That was a Mike Tyson hit,' one witness claimed.
'The customer didn't touch him, so he had no right to touch the customer, period, end of story. I just think that's horrible and wish it didn't happen. It puts a bad light on our entire society.'

The first few seconds of this video actually show the aftermath of the hit.
Look closely at his hands. I believe you see him transferring something held inside his fist to the other hand (after the hit).
I believe he held something in his fist to make the hit harder. A roll of dimes? a metal object? Street thugs know to do this for sucker punches to really wreck someone.
If I’m right, that might be evidence of attempted murder instead of aggrevated assault. A blindside temple hit with a metal object in his fist, leaving him in critical condition.
Whenever someone talks about being more woke and promoting BLM and reparations, remember the real life reasons we have been set back in the racial relations progress we made since the early 1960s.
It cannot just be one sided. There has to be equal justice and respect.
For every George Floyd dead by drugs and health problems unfairly blamed on cops there are old ladies, women joggers, boys on a bike in their front yard and others victimized out of racial animus.
Both races have to respect each other’s right to live in peace.
Fast food is a business model built around people with weak impulse control so it’s inherently dangerous on a lot of levels.

I live nearby this Wendy’s and the locals here state the 67 year old customer from Dewey complained about the food and called the employee the N-word. But this is not an excuse to attack the customer.

There was a shooting that the person claimed self-defense against another guy that was hitting him. Some stupid lawyer was saying how “We’ll have to wait for all the facts, but using lethal force is only when you are in fear of your life or serious injury, not for a fist fight.”
I know of a couple of people that have been jumped and seriously hurt (one that will never be the same), and read in the news all the time of folks getting killed due to getting hit or stomped on.

I’ve told this here before. Before I retired I attended my university’s Martin Luther King Day seminars and sessions. At one a young black woman with a white board listed phrases. One was All People Should Be Treated Equally With Equal Rights Regardless of Their Race.
She said: “While Dr.King was live that would have been considered a good thing to believe. Today it is racist and wrong. The reason is that it does not acknowledge that due to past years of unfairness and racism against blacks, we deserve special extra rights. Equality denies the extra rights.”

Poor choice on the part of the customer, but if he couldn’t resist using the n word he could have accused the worker of being niggardly with the fries (not getting his money’s worth)
