The first few seconds of this video actually show the aftermath of the hit.
Look closely at his hands. I believe you see him transferring something held inside his fist to the other hand (after the hit).
I believe he held something in his fist to make the hit harder. A roll of dimes? a metal object? Street thugs know to do this for sucker punches to really wreck someone.
If I’m right, that might be evidence of attempted murder instead of aggrevated assault. A blindside temple hit with a metal object in his fist, leaving him in critical condition.
There was a shooting that the person claimed self-defense against another guy that was hitting him. Some stupid lawyer was saying how “We’ll have to wait for all the facts, but using lethal force is only when you are in fear of your life or serious injury, not for a fist fight.”
I know of a couple of people that have been jumped and seriously hurt (one that will never be the same), and read in the news all the time of folks getting killed due to getting hit or stomped on.
