I agree that the NY State voter presentation was significant and definitley worth watching. Some of the other stuff, the AI presentation, for one, felt squicky to me.
Mexico is an insane asylum. About 15 years ago, I was in Santa Fe with a friend and it was hot, so we decided to do one of the little bus tours around town. There was a guy on the bus that we started talking to, a white man… can’t recall his business—IT or software maybe. Anyway, a contractor. He told us he had been living in a hotel in Juarez (I might have this backwards… he could have been in El Paso) for several months working this contract job. The Thursday prior, they had found 8 headless bodies right behind his hotel, so he had decided to pack up and move to Santa Fe for a while.
