Mexico is an insane asylum. About 15 years ago, I was in Santa Fe with a friend and it was hot, so we decided to do one of the little bus tours around town. There was a guy on the bus that we started talking to, a white man… can’t recall his business—IT or software maybe. Anyway, a contractor. He told us he had been living in a hotel in Juarez (I might have this backwards… he could have been in El Paso) for several months working this contract job. The Thursday prior, they had found 8 headless bodies right behind his hotel, so he had decided to pack up and move to Santa Fe for a while.
