Another bit of my youth passes on. Don't know his politics but enjoyed him on-screen.

Met him once many years ago, when I was a kid and a regular on a regional TV show (musical variety). He was in town with Doug McClure promoting something (I don’t recall what). They were both cut-ups and not at all pretentious.

(No. I am not a doctor nor have I ever played one on TV. The MD in my screen name stands for Maryland)

Only 5 years older than me... Therefore, too young to go...
He was really good in cowboy movies...
Enjoyable person to watch...

(I cannot be sure for certain, but in my personal opinion I am certain that I am not sure.)

From “The Last Picture Show” to “Hunter’s Blood,” (Billy Bob Thornton’s first movie...I think he was hired as a stand-in for Gullager) I enjoyed his work. RIP, Clu.

“Classic.”
For a cheap schlocky movie it was not that bad. I have watched it several times.
Might watch it but might do “Empire of the Ants” with Joan Collins another not that bad.
Off topic but Judith Durham passed will listen to “Waltzing Matilda” does not get better.
