P in DPT is for pertussis, but IPV (polio) is given along with it at 2,4, and 6 months.

Don’t know about polio but last smallpox vaccine given in 1971. Went to Europe and had to get one so I could get back in US. Immunity is said to be something like 10 years.

The DPaT is the pediatric version for Diptheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus. There are the DTaP-IPV-Hib and DTaP-IPV-HepB pediatric vaccines that have an inactivated Polio component.
