Country star Wynonna Judd is planning to formally contest her late mother’s will which left her $25million fortune to her husband. Naomi Judd, who was a long-time singing partner of Wynonna, as The Judds, left her two daughters out of her will in a baffling move. Both Wynonna, 58, and Ashley did not feature in the will, and did not get any part of her estate, with the Nashville superstar leaving everything to her widower Larry Strickland.

Each state effectively has a will in place for those who do not have one. Terms vary.
I don’t think Larry is their father.
Naomi had two grandchildren. Apparently they were left out of the Will.
Who knows? Her estate is only 25 million, which is not that large, all things considered. No doubt, many things are passed along outside the estate, to avoid probate costs - and publicity.
She may have eaten it.
High maintenance, and the maintenance has failed miserably. 🙂
My experience is that when you have enough assets, a good estate planning attorney puts the assets in a trust when one spouse dies. The trust is owned by the children, but they can’t touch the money until the second spouse dies. In the meantime, the surviving spouse is entitled to all income from those assets until they pass.
That is how my step dad sets up his clients, and all of our family. It ensures the spouse has the means to live well, and that the kids are protected from a new marriage.
Some of the fun of having is giving, some of the fun of having is denying.
Her estate is only 25 million, which is not that large, all things considered.
*************
Doesn’t seem like that much given her stardom.
Spears is showing just how much she needed a keeper. Federline just gave an interview. The sons are embarassed by their mother and aren’t seeing her right now
Looking forward to a spectacle from a trashy, over indulgent family squabbling over the cash needed for more plastic surgery and drugs.
someone posted a few days ago that Naomi was in the midst of divorcing this guy so I would do more than just contest the will. I’d have the death investigated.
It doesn’t matter how much money is involved...
The current one I am watching is the debacle over the Gofundme of the tragic first car that fell victim to an insane nurse on La Brea.
Sister starts the fund for all people in the car. It’s over $131k. She takes off driver of the car. Driver’s family starts a fund but it only has $3800
Then here is the Baby Daddy #1 who would be entitled to money in place of his son. No mention of him.
Fur is going to fly on this one.
Right now mother of pregnant woman is listed as beneficiary of the whole thing
The other interesting thing about that accident is determining who died first for insurance purposes etc. In their case it may make no difference. But for example, if it could be determined Baby was the last one to die as he was flying through the air then Baby would inherit from dead mother and then it would go to his live father.
If millions were on the line it could get interesting. But there are no deep pockets seen so far for this crazy accident
Probate wars….never pretty
She didn’t sleep with her daughter
Exactly
Happened in my family
Oh well life goes on
That was wrong to take the guys name off thr gofundme. Shows greed.
There is an effective way to divvy up that money for the 3 live people who died or 4 if you include about to be born child.
But instead...the mother of the one victim is taking the whole shebang
The baby who died has a living father but unclear if he is a deadbeat dad. Seems like sister claims father didnt want anything to do with the kid..but he is still the heir of dead baby
