Abbott's busloads of illegals to Washington were so successful they've prompted him to expand his operation to sanctuary city New York.
Back in April, Texas's Republican governor, Greg Abbott, pledged to bus migrants who had entered Texas illegally to Washington, D.C. on a voluntary basis.
It was laughed at in the press and among Democrats as a "publicity stunt" at the time. But the governor was dead serious, and kept that promise. Leadership is contagious, and Abbott was soon joined by Arizona's Gov. Douglas Ducey.
For months, the states of Texas and Arizona have been sending charter buses of illegal border crossers being let in by Joe Biden's open borders policy to Washington, D.C.'s Union Station, near the Capitol building and now to New York City, led by Mayor Eric Adams, who loudly proclaims his city a sanctuary city, with laws on the books saying the city is required to provide housing to all comers.
Abbott's office says that over 6,100 migrants have been bussed to D.C. so far.
Abbott expanded his operation by transporting migrants to the Big Apple, which he said like Washington, D.C. is an “ideal destination” due to the city’s generous treatment of homeless people.
However, officials based in D.C. or NYC, despite their claims of compassion aren’t exactly giving the migrants the red carpet treatment.

Maine is a pretty conservative place, they just went haywire for a bit in the larger towns on the coast. Imthink,they will turn red again, but the larger towns are getting inundated with illegals and “refugees” that the left keep sending there, turning the areas blue. The locals hate it.
Send them SOUTH of the border, not north!

For several cities, the problem with a migrant influx is that available tent space has already pretty much been used up.
I guess they will need to triple taxes and force people to fill empty rooms in their home.
Nearly 70% do not work and go on gov welfare. The left lie when they say they jusy want to co e here to work. Only a few do, the majority want to come here for “free money” so they can sit around and drink beer and smoke pot all day and not have to worry about rent or food
The taste of liberalism isn’t so good after sanctuary cities get filled up with it.

The governors should “share the wealth”. Once NYC and DC take actions against illegals, there are a *lot* of other places to send buses to.
It’s going to need some strategy. First of all, they should be sent to “purple” areas to help tip them “red” before the elections. And then to “blue” state capitols in those sanctuary states.
Some years ago, Arizona had a highly effective program to fly planeloads of illegals to Mexico City, which is a long and arduous way back to the border. Very cost effective, in that a jumbo jet can hold a LOT of passengers. And it was a “voluntary repatriation”. Illegals had to ask for it, and many did. No flight until the plane was full. Almost none returned to the US.
And don’t neglect blue Hawaii. They are already complaining about mainland US homeless. See how they like illegals.
For the icing on the cake, issue them all Biden/Democrat campaign buttons, that they have to wear for “free stuff” like bag lunches.
The should keep taking them all to DC where it is having the desired effect.
Only 6,100? There are plenty more. Don’t hold back on shipping them out to the source of the problem.
Donations for that project are something I can gladly afford.

Did you read your own sentence? Abbott has to comply with a statute covering where he sends illegals who the US Government allowed into his state illegally?
It is a BRILLIANT tactic and it is hurting them immensely. DC Mayor Bowowser requested use of National Guard troops to help control the UNCONTROLLABLE ILLEGAL ALIEN INVASION and FJB Biden HAD to deny it. If he had done so, how could his lesbian/AA Press Secretary then explain his need to use military force in and around DC - BUT NOT ON THE SOUTHERN BORDER?

I say Texas needs to invest in cattle cars and ship them all north east.
Better solution, and one where Abbott puts the state’s money where his mouth is: Give illegals two choices: go home or go to jail.
Send them to nancys place with ladders to scale the fence. She also has nice orchards for them to camp in. Free ice cream for all. They could even raid the liquor cabinet.
