Prepare to vote!
Trump has endorsed:
Governor: Bill Lee (incumbent)
US House:
TN-03: Chuck Fleischmann (incumbent)
TN-07: Mark Green (incumbent)
TN-01: Diana Harshbarger (incumbent)
More than a decent shot at Lee carrying every county. Usually the Republican loses three (Shelby/Memphis; Davidson/Nashville & rural Black majority Haywood, which will soon be undergoing a demo shift in the future with the location of the multibillion $$ Ford plant).
The White Dem nominee (who won because the 2 Black Dems split the vote) is lower than second tier as a candidate, effectively desultory. He almost got tossed in the Dem primary because he voted for Pig Vomit in the 2016 GOP Prez primary, but made the successful (for him) argument that he was “trying to stop Trump.” The Demonrat party is dead as a statewide/federal party in TN now. They only exist in the cities and not much beyond.
Whoops, was talking about TN’s Gov race, not CT.
For the first time in my lifetime, I’ll have a U.S. House member that represents me.
Andy Ogles will be the first Republican elected from the TN-5th since Horace H. Harrison won his single term in 1872, 150 years ago (and that, only because 2 Democrats split the vote enabling him to win with a plurality).
Ogles will also be the first non-leftist to win the seat since J. Carlton Loser (Low-sir) won his final term in 1960 (defeated by left-winger Dick Fulton in 1962 and leftist ever since, with Bob Clement being “only” 75% left-wing, which today would make him the most Conservative(!) member of the national Demonrat party).
Terrible news in Shelby County (Memphis), GOP D.A. (?!) defeated by leftist swine.
No comments allowed on the video, of course.
One of the most pathetic displays by a GOP candidate I’ve ever seen. Does he really think some feminazi whore will vote him because of that?
I’m amazed they even had a GOP D.A.
Our state legislature is going to have to step up and make sure the governor has the immediate power to remove lawless D.A.’s in urban locales picking and choosing what laws to prosecute. I don’t know what the present situation is. I heard the State AG may have limited powers with that (or they were attempting to give them powers).
Thanks for the information and encouraging news re: the 19th and 23rd districts.
btw, I get the Albany area TV news, and all of the Dem party candidates have vicious and/or anti-life ads.
About 12% of adults voted in the Ogles primary
GOO primary turnout is light in CT and will be even lighter this week
My Levy signs are up
Is Lee trying to introduce an income tax to Tennessee, the way Sundquist tried to do?
I didn’t realize that scumbag Stefanowski had already been nominated for Governor.
If he did, he would be utterly destroyed.
“Is Lee trying to introduce an income tax to Tennessee, the way Sundquist tried to do?”
Oh crap. Really? What makes you think so? That cannot happen.
I pay pretty close attention, but haven’t heard that. I would remember! I’ll ask your question on the TN Forum.
