There's no link and I couldn't find a newsource, but this guy's sources are pretty good. If this is true I'm pretty much done with voting Republicans.

“Maybe I’m missing something. But didn’t the Supreme Court kick the whole abortion thing back to the states? If that’s the case, no federal law can override that ruling. It would take a constitutional amendment.”
_____
Exactly! Congress can’t “codify” Roe and make it a federal law. The Supreme Court ruled it is unconstitutional and thus a matter for the States.
Calm down. The court just overturned Roe as a State’s issue. If the idiots pass this it will be overturned.
They still need eight votes to get to 60 votes.
I have been thinking the same thing.
Will Bob Casey. Jr. be voting with his famously pro-life father or with his party? I think we all know the answer.
Collins and Murky.
Both from states with RCV.
What a coinkydink!
So you support an Article V Convention of the States.
The SCOTUS is now a rubber stamp for Deep State.
Nothing gets upheld or overturned unless Deep State wills it.
It has ZERO to do with the Constitution any more.
Exactly.
“The SCOTUS is now a rubber stamp for Deep State.

You might try to get out more (or at least read more). The SCOTUS just completely overturned Roe v Wade based on the fact that abortion is not a Constitutional right. How is that not a victory?
FR Doomers will turn any victory into a defeat (and the recent Roe decision was a huge victory).
All the Supreme Court said was, the constitution does not guarantee the right to abortion.
But congress can make a law that is enforceable in all states.
The proposed legislation will insure access to “pre-viability“ abortions and states can decide on post-viability access.
Of course they are. Why would we expect otherwise.
“This needs to be the final nail in Murkowski’s coffin. She’s unfit to represent Alaska.”
That’s a fact.
Yep. And for the same reason they want to interfere with state election laws.
“Out of the 50 Republican Senators, an unverified rumor that two will support codifying Roe is enough to make the Doomers start foaming at the mouth.”
They are co-sponsors. If they didn’t vote for it, they’d be voting against their own bill. I mean, it’s been done before, but it is very rare.
Blaming the GOP for Collins and Murkowski makes no sense.
Murkowski actually ran as an independent.
The usual suspects.
Always the same bunch.
No, there are not.
This is just more “let’s split the GOP so we can keep complaining about nothing for the sake of nothing” nonsense from the usual suspects. This wouldn’t even be brought up for a vote if the GOP held the majority, let alone pass.
Garbage and false narratives.
“personal health care decisions”
Simply demonic.
