Oh Lil. Comes a time when you just have to realize that perhaps a good nursing home is better for him AND you. Do you think he’d want for you to be going through this? If it’s a good, caring nursing home, where he gets looked after and you can visit him every day, then I’m not seeing any real advantage to keeping him with you.
I’m not ready for the home yet, but I’ve told the kids that there’s no way on earth I want them to be burdened with such difficulties if I reach a ripe old age. I wouldn’t want them going through what you’re going through come hell or high water. Honestly, as an older person, I have to say that a comfortable nursing home, where my kids and grands can pop in and see me is where I’d want to be.
God bless you for your kind heart, but if you have the opportunity to let your dear FIL be cared for properly in a nursing home, and are able to visit him daily, maybe even bring him home for a weekend or day trip, that’s what I’d be doing. If he needed to be in hospital you’d have no problem letting him be - think of a good nursing home in the same light.
Just my 2 cents worth. I would hate for you to have a breakdown.

I listened to the returns the other night with Charlie Kirk and Jack Posobiec....whenever they announced another drop, it would always be around 67% Lake, 27% Robson, or something close. I dare say Maricopa was trying to pull a fast one, but couldn’t overcome the numbers. For it to end up this close after what I heard all night is truly suspect.
Can’t wait to watch what happens. I wonder if Ingraham, Baier, Kilmeade et al are on suicide watch.
I guess she’s going to do as much damage as she can, as fast as possible. :-(

Was watching returns last night and suddenly got a flashback to one of our Long-Night-Recovering-Aircraft sessions from long ago.
One pilot was all-of-the-above on problems: low fuel, bad coms, suddenly flakey aircraft...
Anyway, we were watching him coming in and someone in the back of the room quietly said, "No sweat. He's got this."
And the pilot stuck an absolute perfect landing.
Got the same feeling last night, only that quiet voice wasn't talking about a pilot.

Got home from the hospital about an hour ago.
In time to read all the good news about Kari.
Would have been home sooner but one of the last minute tests (lactic Acid?) showed I might have Sepsis. They gave me a bag of fluids and waited a bit to let antibiotic work then retested and the number had come down to normal. Praise God. Now time to rest. Such good family here on the Trump Train!
Praying for you real hard.
Just went through that with mom who passed in March.

We just had a hum-dinger of a storm move through here.....it came up from the south-west. Lots of rain....maybe they were all the liberal tears from the Kari Lake win!
