Amen - the selfishness and self absorption of this woman neglecting her daughter is depressing. It’s all about her missing her daughters first word - not her daughter not having her mother around to hear it. And why are we having kids without Dads? It makes things a lot easier to have Dad providing so one can actually raise the child rather than pay for childcare. So depressingly sad that people are so messed up thinking the be all and end all is to have a “career” at the expense of the next generation.
What I did was move into a smaller place and work part time so I could raise my child properly. I worked 20 hrs week. Took no benefits. Fortunately I had some savings. My mom helped during those 20 hours. But it wasn’t her responsibility to raise my child. So those were the decisions I made till he got into school full time at 6 years old.
