I had an Associate years ago, she was absolutely brilliant. Possibly the most intelligent person whom I have met in my life in the Field. She was once the Director of the Department for Pulmonary Studies at a very famous Boston University. I only know it because I asked her if she had ever considered teaching. I do not think that people knew about it as she never told anyone, but she answered my direct question.
Anyhow, she used to say that the generation born between 1880-1930 or so were the healthiest people who ever lived. She attributed it to indoor plumbing, innovative sanitation practices, and the absence of food additives.
She made terrific sense. Very cool lady.
ThankQ!
