This breaks my heart. This poor woman had NO ONE. The neighbor complained about the smell, the police did nothing — and she had no one. Prayers for her.
That is the sad part. She had no relationships with anyone who cared about her. A fellow coworker who I had befriended got sick. After a couple of days I checked on him. He wouldn’t come to the door but assured me he was going to see a doctor the next morning, After a few more days, the police called me to tell me he was found deceased. He apparently had passed away within hours of me checking on him.
