RDA is a bunch of bullsh!t number one. And B, for therapeutic doses I say 3-5g per day (spaced out of course). For maintenance 1-1.5g per day. My best results in myself and others I’ve coached have been taking niacin with NAC.
Pro tip: larger doses of niacin do not necessarily mean a more intense flush. In fact, sometimes smaller doses can have a more intense flush than larger ones.
You can take a pill and wait for the flush. Or you can dissolve the niacin powder in water and drink it. You get the flush in about 3-5 minutes and it never lasts as long as a pill dose. NAC and niacin dissolve best in hot water. Add a few ice cubes and slam it. I like to mix with a milk frother.
I’m just curious as to whether my 14 year’s of taking Niacinamide was correct.
Most online folks, indicate that you must flush but it seems that is a starting point and then on to maintenance.
I think I’m just gonna just stick with my daily intake and trust muh body.
