I’m just curious as to whether my 14 year’s of taking Niacinamide was correct.
Most online folks, indicate that you must flush but it seems that is a starting point and then on to maintenance.
I think I’m just gonna just stick with my daily intake and trust muh body.
#healthy...like OX!
If you take higher doses of real niacin your inflammation will melt away - that you feel and that you do not. We all have inflammation.
I’m not saying the historical fake niacin didn’t do anything, but at best I reckon it kept your blood thin and pressure down. Real niacin will do a better job.
For those watching at home, the first flush is bad and scary. I’m not gonna lie. However, remember that it is NOT dangerous even though you feel like you have a sunburn on the inside. After more dosages the flush will rarely make it past your ears or neck - not down to your toes like the first time. You’ll crave that tingle after a while. Try to channel it into exercise.
Fun fact: many “stacks” that athletes take contain nicotinamide.
Fun fact 2: almost all commercially produced niacin comes from, you guessed it, tobacco leaves. I buy organic leaves whole by the pound (no cigarette tax don’tchaknow). I run them through the paper shredder after removing the leaf stems. It makes a great shag for a pipe. It’s not that great for lung darts, but works rolled or stuffed in paper.
