Buried at the first hole: Ivana Trump's final resting place is revealed to be a plot on Donald's Bedminster golf course in New Jersey where friends and family gathered yesterday after NYC church service

Ivana Trump was buried Wednesday next to the first hole along a grassy area at her ex-husband's tony Bedminster Golf Club following the invite-only funeral service.

The New York socialite's rose gold casket was lowered into the ground 'not too far from the main club house' at Trump's Bedminster Golf Course Wednesday afternoon, a source in attendance told the New York Post, in a 'private grassy area.'

'It was beautiful,' the unidentified source said of the burial, which was attended by family members and a few close friends.

Ivana's three children - Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump - are said to have spoken at the burial ceremony after telling mourners at the funeral what a trailblazer the former Czech model was.

And former President Donald Trump told the mourners around the burial site 'just what an incredible woman she was and what a strong woman, and she commanded a room.'

Ivana's legacy is now forever marked at the New Jersey golf club with 'a very discreet piece of granite engraved with her name.'

She was remembered earlier in the day as a 'trailblazer' who lived the American Dream after coming to the United States from Czechoslovakia, raising three children while developing her own personal brand.

The funeral service was billed a 'Celebration of Life' and was limited to just about 100 mourners, each of whom were required to display their invitation to enter the St Vincent Ferrer Church as onlookers gathered outside.

An unexpected loss like this is very difficult...not that one is ever prepared, but I’m certain it has made things especially hard for all who loved her. I lost my Dad many, many years ago after he went in for a routine biopsy, which could be performed no other way (at that time) except surgery, because of the location. Totally unexpected, and unfortunately, a surgical error. Besides the grief, the physical strain of the unexpected loss is enormous...it took a long time to heal.....I send my prayers to the family for their peace and comfort.

I knew my Mama was headed for eternity for a year or two before she died. IOW, I was “expecting it”. That was still the worst phone call I have ever received. I’ve been asked when you “get over it”. The answer is “you don’t. you just get used to it”. That’s something the Trumps will learn ... and something that unites us all. Their money or my (at the time) lack thereof doesn’t change it. We all die, and we all deal with death of others.

My brother-in-law and my oldest sister were like my surrogate parents. She died of illness. While it was a terrible loss, we expected her passing. My darling BIL died unexpectedly of a heart attack a few years later. He was here...then he was not. Just like that. Five months ago, still trying to recover from the shock.

Interesting to note that GEOTUS was in Navy blue, not black.

Agree. I've never seen him pictured in black. His "brand" for the past decade or more is a blue Brioni suit.

Given the divorce and the fact that his behavior precipitated it, and that he has remarried twice, I think it was a tactful choice not to wear uncharacteristic black so as not to look like he was the chief mourner, and somewhat of a hypocrite, when as of now it was his children and grandchildren's most painful loss.

I'm sure he felt plenty of regret, however. It's all over his face. I hope he was aware that it stirred up his children's pain about the divorce all over again, and unsettled Melania as well. Nevertheless, the clan had the dlplomacy and decorum to unite as a family—ins, outs and all.

When Donald Trump’s day comes, he may well end up in Arlington as a respected statesman—that or an ornate tomb next to his Florida Library. History is not done with Trump. History will be kind to him in the end. This is a three act play, We are now in the middle of the second act, The Third act is coming “The Return of Trump” where he saves the nation.

funerals are a difficult dynamic with all the typical divorced situations. Jr’s ex clearly was needed for her kids. May be same reason Melania showed up for Barron.

Weddings, too; very hard for the dumped mother of the children. But Barron had no blood relation to Ivana; so it was kind of Melania and Barron to come and support the others' grief. Melania looked diplomatically sad, but Barron looked genuinely sad. I have a feeling Ivana treated Barron well at family gatherings—a bonus grandma. Ivana seemed to be a fountain of energy, fun, and dynamism.

I have a whole lotta respect for Donald and I know he loves Melania dearly.
But I think deep in his heart Ivana was the one.
That’s just me yammering...

I think a couple of floors at Trump Tower would be the best place for the Presidential Library, possibly the three penthouse floors that were his apartment. Unless, of course, Melania wants to keep that apartment after Donald is gone. Given that it was designed by Ivana, maybe not.

I hope Melania lands softly in years to come. She has been maligned unfairly, and had nothing to do with the breakups of either of DJT’s marriages.

The only one that Ivana still had a problem with is Marla Maples.

Wouldn't anyone? She was the homewrecker.

Given the number of Liberal idiots out there, there’s always a possibility of vandalization. Having the plot on the golf course keeps the Liberals out.

That’s true. They had to move Elvis to Graceland because so many people were chipping pieces from the grave marker. He’s right next to the swimming pool now.

I thought it was really touching that the restaurant manager would walk her home. Seems like she was well liked by many.

Melania is true class. The look an her face is telling. She feels the pain. That is very telling.
