Note this benefit was from the whole egg, not egg whites.

Cereal and milk every day will do the trick. Or take a 10 minute walk...the sun doesn’t have to be shining.

That’s why farm boys have bones strong as I-beams... Lots of milk and eggs every day.

Why stop at one egg, I normally eat three per day. Preferably from local farms. In my area of southern Connecticut, there are a lot of places to get farm fresh eggs. Many of them put them out roadside in coolers where you can pull over and pay on the honor system.

And the cholesterol thing is a bunch of nonsense. Eggs can actually be beneficial to your cholesterol profile by increasing the "good" and decreasing the "bad".

Eggs are good.
Eggs are bad.

Butter is good.
Butter is bad.

Coffee is good.
Coffee is bad.

Wine is good.
Wine is bad.

Oh, so this is the “eggs are good for you” part of the year. I always forget in which part of the year that narrative starts. In six months, I assume it will revert back to the “eggs are harmful to your health” setting.

I used to have a picture of two headlines, six months apart, from the same newspaper. One stated “Why Eggs Are Harmful to Your Health” and the other “Why Eggs Should Be a Part of Your Daily Diet”.

Thank you for referencing that article ConservativeMind.

I went over the article a few times to find what kind of vitamin D IU we can expect from an egg but didn't see anything. Did I miss something?

Here's a link to a page that actually goes into surprising detail about vitamin D IU in egg, depending on how it is cooked.

Amount of Vitamin D in An egg

If you eat the whole egg, you also get calcium from the shell :)

An egg a day keeps the doctor away? All these years I have believed it was an apple a day. (I’m 72).

Been doing it for over 8 years.... and not one moment of concern for this covid crap!...

Sad all the millions of lives that could have been saved by just getting a little info out there especially to elderly about taking a little daily preventative.

Vit. D3, Zinc, Magnesium.... Covid DONE!!

Eggs are good eating. A little tablet of 5,000 IU is more effective. D3 and Zinc cocktail is great for preventing catching Covid.
