A West Virginia judge was accused of waving a Colt 45 handgun at lawyers in his courtroom during a case over fossil fuel royalties where he mocked the defense's security team for wearing a 'sissy-a** purse' and carrying smaller guns than him.
Attorney Lauren Varnado filed a report to the FBI against Circuit Court Judge David Hummel Jr., who oversaw sees cases in New Martinsville, after he allegedly pointed a gun at her and her team on March 12.
Varnado - who represented the EQT Production Company against landowners suing over the royalty payments from fossil fuels extraction on their land - claimed Hummel began mocking her for having a security team following her around, according to her sworn statement provided to DailyMail.com.
'Aren't me and my guns and security enough,' Hummel allegedly asked the lawyer as he took out his Colt 45 pistol and pointed it at her and her team. 'My guns are bigger than your security's guns!'
The judge, who Varnado and her team accused of having a conflict of interest in the case given his ties to gas companies acquired by EQT, also ridiculed the defense's security team, according to court records.
'I got this man here carrying a man purse, which I make fun of him every damn day for wearing such a sissy-a** contraption,' he allegedly said, referring to a bag one of the security members was holding.
'And I hear he has blood coagulant,' he reportedly added. 'I have blood coagulant up here too, and I've got lots of guns. Like, bigger ones too.'

Had to check the article to see if the judge’s name was Roy Bean.
Why would the Feds be involved in this?
Exactly how does the FBI have any authority in the judges courtroom during a trial? Asking for a friend.
So, a 1911 Colt 45 or a classic cowboy 45 long colt revolver. It matters. ๐ โ
I was hoping you all could tell me that.
Gotta love this guy.
Colt .45LC or acp? I wish journalists would learn to report the important stuff!
My gun is bigger than your gun! Kinda wish I lived in the old western days.
If this account is true, the judge needs a mental exam.
The “sissy” crack may get the judge 15 years in sol in the DC jail.
RED FLAG!
Brandishing a firearm is a crime and might even qualify as assault with a deadly weapon.
Look for the Hunter connection.
Well, you know, in the Biden Regime, the Feds get their hairy mitts into everything. "The 10th Amendment? Pffft!"
What’s wrong with pointing guns at lawyers? I’m mystified why anyone would care.
I hope it's a .45LC revolver
Lawyers...
Never point a gun at them without pulling the trigger...
IAC, waving a gun isn’t the same as “pointing” it...
