Personally, I prefer to avoid driving and interactions with people whom I do not know during such times. Frankly, full moons scare me.
The Earth is covered by something near 70% water, and our own bodies are as well about that much water, or so I have read. Gravity is a real Force. If I did not know that it was full moon, I would know. I can see it in the behavior of people.
I do try to stay home, and I always have an up to date Almanac.

All of the doctors at the hospital in the trauma ward said that they believe it. They said the emergency rooms fill up around the full moon. Even cops, if they are honest, will tell you that they get busy at that time. Our cows always had their calves the week of a full moon. Yes, it definitively effects the behavior of living creatures.
Most who have worked in an ER {ED} subscribe to that belief.
I was a hospital chaplain. Trust me everyone in the hospital really dreaded full moons. The ER was overwhelmed with many situations that were hostile and clearly in everyone’s estimation the result of the moons pull I’ve noted too people I’m close to are a bit ( or more) off
