I’ve always wondered what’s up with Wimpy...and how about those sea hags always kidnapping Olive Oyl?

Well, he was a sailor that probably got lonely at sea while Bluto was entertaining Olive Oyl ashore.

I didn’t know Popeye was still around.
Would that HE weren’t.
Sick of these weirdo enablers changing everything.

Cartoonist Randal K. Milholland described the Popeye character as being “gender fluid,” citing old episodes in which the plot required Popeye to dress in drag.
++++++
Yeah just like Milton Berle, or Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis in “Some Like It Hot”, or the Three Stooges in several of their episodes. All big gender fluid guys.

Cross-dressing used to be a topic of humor, not a sacrament. “That’s all I can stands cause I can’t stands no more!”

So, "Spinach" is the nickname of his male friend?

Leave old cartoons alone. Create new cartoons and feel free to do with what you want to do.

This is just more recruitment and grooming on a mass scale.
We may not have noticed but we're actually at the level of Sodom where for all intents and purpose the culture is shouting at us, "bring out the young men that we may know them!"

I would love to see a remake of Popeye. I think Jeremy Renner would make a great Popeye with Liam Neesom as his old man. Not a musical remake though although the 1980 Robin Williams version was terrific, but it should be more fantasy/action-adventure though. And the Sea Hag should be the villain, not Bluto.
