I’m sure you know alcohol and OTC pain relievers can cause stomach problems. I’ve always had ulcer problems so maybe I’m more atuned to it.

Trump’s talk about drugs reminded me of our first furlough around 2000. We took our kids to the pediatrician for regular check-ups. While we were out of the room, the doc asked our son, about 13 or 14 years old if he took drugs. Our son said, “Yes, of course.” Rather surprised by the answer (who admits drug use?)the doc then asked as to which drugs did our son use. The Son, bless his heart, started off, “Well, I take chloroquin once a week as malaria prophylaxis. I also take doxy for minor infections ...” About this point, the doc couldn’t stop laughing. He then elucidated that he meant ILLEGAL drugs like marijuana.
Our son assured the doc that he did not so imbibe. For once, a doctor actually believed the patient.

In the summer, the time difference between EDT and MST is three hours in AZ.
When EDT goes back to EST, then it is two hours.
