You remembered it exactly right, they had a hoarding situation and were asked to help. They said they couldn’t even take in half the animals but they took what they could. Most of them needed medical care so that delayed taking in any other animals.
But I just called today to verify and we are on the go again. The transport will be here the end of July, delivering the kittens 1st of August. That’ll be on their fourth month birthday. I am really going to miss them. On the positive side I will have a lot more time left to do things I should be doing.

Retail sales rise more than expected in June
Economists had forecast sales would rise 0.9% over the prior month in June after a 0.3% jump in May. Sales in May were revised down, however, to show a 0.1% drop in sales.
By category, retail sales rose the most at gasoline stations amid a surge in the price of gas last month, which topped $5 a barrel nationwide for the first time in mid-June. As of Thursday, the price of gas had declined in the U.S. for 30 straight days.
Excluding gas station sales, retail sales rose 0.7% in June.

My heart goes out to President Trump and his children. I am saddened to receive news that tomorrow’s Save America rally has been cancelled, however I know firsthand that it is important to be surrounded by family when you lose a Mother. We look forward to seeing you next Friday!
While golf’s PGA Tour is going woke, especially because of the Saudi’s human rights violations, after a new Saudi backed league is starting up, our President is over in Saudi coddling up to them. The one incident that the PGA Tour keeps mentioning is the murder of the (not) WaPo journalist, Khashoggi. Professional golf used to be very apolitical but their announcers are ruining even this respite from politics.
Each meme gets better and better. Too bad they are based on the truth that the Dems are trying to ruin our country.
