Welp, we’re giving another $1.7 billion to Ukraine.

Remember a few years ago when our government was shut down for a few months because Congress refused to give Trump $5.7 billion to build the wall?

But they will hand over $60 billion to a country halfway across the world.

Isn’t it hilarious that the best the #January6thCommittee can come up with is a tweet about marching to the Capitol that Trump reviewed but never sent? This only constitutes “evidence” in Aristophanic comedy. “He didn’t say it.” “Yes but he was THINKING about saying it!”

They are precious! Looks like it’s dangerous to walk down that hallway :-) your tuxedo looks a lot like edsel. Same little gloves.

“So debonair.”

That’s the perfect word for him. I always think he looks like he’s dressed up and ready to go somewhere fancy. Even hubby mentioned that he prances across the room, he doesn’t walk.

Here’s my crazy thinking about that. While I was waiting for the vet with Edsel, my mind was running amok. I thought it could be feline leukemia. And if it was, then they wouldn’t be able to get Holmes. And then that meant I could keep all of them! So I was kind of hoping for that.

I remember when Democrats and their media mocked Melania Trump for having an accent while speaking five different languages. Jill Biden can’t even say “bodega.”

Yeah I think I did think about calling the red Tabby Donald. That was before we got into pasta names. And then after that Ford names.

18 lb! That’s huge. Corduroy was by far my biggest cat ever had 12 lb. I think Torino will be about the same. Unless he’s fat. I found a kitten growth chart so I could estimate how big he would be. He was at the top of the chart.

But I know there are cats bigger! I went with a friend of mine to take care of her friends cats, and they were huge. Not just fat but very long. That must be how Rusty and proby were/are.

I’m really trying to decide between Torino and edsel. I love them both though.

Worms!!!! It’s only worms. Well at least that’s easily fixable. But boy did those kittens get sick over those worms. I could see how kittens died because of it. How awful for those out there that don’t get medical help. Our stupid shelter is full and has shut down taking in anybody. And yet they don’t think they ought to set up a system to move their animals to empty shelters. NOT IMPRESSED!!

Hard to believe we have not even made it to the 1.5 year mark of Biden Presidency.

That’s next week.

I am!!

The shelter in Connecticut had to postpone taking them because they had been asked to help with a hoarding situation. Here’s a video they made about the outcome. Sorry it is Facistbook, that’s where they put it.

Ha! All he needs is a top hat!

I think you should do an Instagram page for these adorable kitties.

You can post their individual pics/stories….vids with progression they've made.

Their mama's story, etc.

You can become a foster influencer!! 💞😻🐈🐈‍⬛

I saw that. Don’t worry, Joe says we have the best economy ever, and we can afford to send Ukraine billions more.

Japan’s Unification Church confirms mother of alleged Abe assassin was a member, raising questions about possible motivation

Abe’s maternal grandfather, Nobusuke Kishi, who served as prime minister from 1957 to 1960 and died in 1987, reportedly helped establish a political group linked to the Unification Church in Japan. In his book Machiavelli’s Children: Leaders and Their Legacies in Italy and Japan, Japan scholar Richard J. Samuels claims that the Unification Church’s Tokyo headquarters was built on land once owned by Kishi, and that Abe’s father, former Japanese foreign minister Shintaro Abe, depended on support from members of the Unification Church in his election campaigns.

The younger Abe delivered a congratulatory message via video link at an event hosted by an organization affiliated with the Unification Church last September. Donald Trump also addressed the group.

The Unification Church was founded in South Korea in 1954 by Sun Myung Moon, a disaffected Presbyterian who believed himself to be the second-coming of Jesus Chris and harbored a profound hatred of communism. Drawing on the hardships of his early life, including three years of imprisonment in a Communist labor camp in North Korea, Moon fashioned a unique theology combining elements of Christianity, Buddhism, Confucianism and shamanism that attracted tens of thousands of followers in Korea and beyond.

Fun times on the Trump Train!

Do you all remember this?

2020 ELECTIONS

Biden: Latino community is diverse, ‘unlike the African American community’
President Donald Trump quickly attacked Biden over the remark.
Joe Biden said in remarks on Wednesday that the Latino community is “incredibly diverse,” “unlike” the Black community.

“Unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly diverse attitudes about different things,” Biden said. “You go to Florida, you find a very different attitude about immigration than you do in Arizona. So it’s a very diverse community.”

Biden’s campaign said the comment was meant to describe the diversity of political opinion among Latino Americans and was not a judgment on cultural diversity.

But only moments after his campaign responded to POLITICO on his interview, Biden again contrasted Latino and Black Americans — this time explicitly on the topic of national and cultural origin.

“We can build a new administration that reflects the full diversity of our nation. The full diversity of the Latino communities,” Biden said. “Now when I mean full diversity, unlike African American community, many other communities, you’re from everywhere. From Europe. From the tip of South America, all the way to our border and Mexico and in the Caribbean. And different backgrounds, different ethnicities, but all Latinos.”

H
He eventually tweeted a thread further explaining what he meant by his comments later Thursday night.

“In no way did I mean to suggest the African American community is a monolith — not by identity, not on issues, not at all,“ Biden wrote. “Throughout my career I‘ve witnessed the diversity of thought, background, and sentiment within the African American community. It‘s this diversity that makes our workplaces, communities, and country a better place.“

One of my neighbors had 40+ cats. She didn’t neuter them. A shelter found homes for them. The cats were healthy though.
