Black Women Have Much at Stake in States Where Abortion Access May Vanish
KHN.ORG ^ | June 3, 2022 | Blake Farmer, Nashville Public Radio

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — “Adulting” was not going great for Tia Freeman. She had lost her scholarship at the University of Tennessee and enlisted in the Air Force. As she finished training to be an analyst, she got pregnant despite being on birth control.

Both her parents worked, so the child care they could provide was limited. Day care would have eaten most of her paycheck. And even at age 20, Freeman knew that as a Black woman she would have more difficulty climbing the economic ladder than some other women would.

So she had an abortion.

“I’m at the bottom of the military rank system. I barely have enough to support me,” Freeman, now 26, recalled thinking at the time. “I knew this wasn’t going to be the kind of lifestyle that I would want to provide for a family.”

Black women disproportionately use abortion services across much of the South — where access is largely set to vanish if the Supreme Court this term overturns its 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. And the consequences may be as much a risk to their economic opportunities as their health.

The Supreme Court is expected to issue a decision soon in a case about a Mississippi law that bans most abortions after 15 weeks. A draft opinion that was leaked suggests that a majority of the justices may be willing to overturn Roe.

So what is it with this part of the black community/culture that has seen the Black family structure decline since the 1960’s? Why has the single motherhood rate gone from 9% in 1960 to 73% today? That kind of thing doesn’t ‘just happen’. Something very real is driving it. With all the progress thats been made in the civil rights movement etc, why is this crap happening? I dont get it.

Reading the story, the women is pictured wearing a Black Lives Matter t-shirt. She doesn’t get the sick irony in that.

She had one abortion, became a lesbian, got pregnant again and found out too late to kill the boy so she had him and dumped him on the grandmother, then somehow got pregnant again and had another abortion.

This is ignorance. Willful irresponsibility. A lot of women have been there. Women have been brain washed into believing sex is a recreational sport and the sacredness of their bodies is imaginary.

Yes they’re pushing the black woman story to make this about race and lots of black women do have abortions but so do lots of other, assorted pigment types.

It’s devaluing ALL lives, just how the Marxists want it.

So, white people stereotyping Black women as the only ones who need abortion freedom isn’t racist?

“Abortion? That’s OK, they’re black.”

Tia Freeman is an attention whore (among other types) who uses her reproductive organs and her stupidity for media coverage.

Rocket Science Basics:

Don’t let the big red rocket (or black, brown, yellow or whatever flavor you prefer) between your legs and you won’t get pregnant...nor STD’s.

If you have sex a pregnancy can occur. How about not doing that so casually? That would prevent pregnancies with people you don't want to spend the rest of your life with?

And perhaps having a better attitude toward life rather than killing people because they are inconvenient. This was purely an optional abortion - not because of the health or life of the mother or that the baby was dead. She elected to kill her child for convenience per this article.

My guess is that their philosophy of life changed from traditional “we gotta stick together- raise good children” to the free-wheelin hippie culture of personal hedonism, and serious mind bending drugs.

Some of the pop songs reflected this...Love Child by the Supremes begat Fire by Jimi Hendrix or Me and Mrs. Jones by Billy Paul....or Reefer Man( making fun of mj smokers) or Jitter Bug( alcohol use) by Calloway begat Psychedelic Shack or Cloud Nine by the Temptations.
Just maybe sayin’.....sure there are others factors..

Margaret Sanger would be proud of her continuing legacy ... genocide against groups of people she didn’t like (primarily Black Lives that didn’t matter).

In Tennessee, Black women accounted for roughly half of the 8,727 abortions in 2019.

Nancy Pelosi, a “DEVOUT” Catholic, and her progressive SCOTUS justices, are proudly advancing Sanger’s evil legacy, and getting women to willingly carry out the genocide - more than 4,000 in Tennessee in 2019 (probably twice that in 2021).

This article, about a woman whose IQ is a number that’s below the radar, is written by a brainless non-discerning idiot.

Lost her scholarship

Dropped out of college

Claims that birth control failed

Claims to be “queer” but got pregnant 3 times

Got 2 abortions

And finally, claims that black lives matter:

What a blithering idiot

You just have to be dumber than a box of rocks. Low grades will lead to academic probation then kicked out for a year if no grade improvements. Any scholarship by then would be long gone.

Freeman knew that as a Black woman she would have more difficulty climbing the economic ladder than some other women would.

This is patently false.

Blacks have EVERY advantage in scholarships, college admissions, hiring practices, careers and promotions.

Wish Black women would wake up and see White Liberals want to control their population.

Perhaps that’s what’s needed. We should turn it into a Race issue.

“She got pregnant despite being on birf control.” Sounds like it was the damn Air Force that got her knocked up. Holding an old penny between the knees is the only birth control that really works every time.

When medical researchers want to study high maternal and infant mortality, they study people of African descent. I think you can reasonably expect an explosion of infant and maternal deaths that will (of course) be attributed to racism, especially given the new anti-intellectualism and science denial of “Progressives” these days. There needs to be exceptions for life and health of the mother, or the pro-life movement will have blood on its hands.

I wonder what the hell she was being trained to “analyze”. Surely it wasn’t “How Bimbos “Lose” Scholarships and Get Pregnant While On Birth Control In The Air Force.”

That’s not true. Sometimes even oral contraceptives fail. Being on antibiotics can cause oral contraceptives to be less effective is one example. What I notice is that there is no mention of the person who got her pregnant. I’d write “boyfriend” but it could have just been a casual hookup.

In any case her choice to have sex knowing the normal consequence to sex is pregnancy is no excuse for aborting an innocent life.

They really, really, really want to kill black babies. That’s my take away from this.

I’m calling BS on this woman’s claim that she was on “birth control.” If she was on the pill, there would be no way of this happening.

It can happen.

Illness and antibiotics interfere with the pill's effectiveness, and if someone is not diligent in taking the pill every day, that will cause it to not be so effective.

If she had stayed out of the sack, then she wouldn't have gotten pregnant.
