The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
"FOST C FYA Y RUW UD DUNJLSST, HW DYLOSJ FYA AU CVTUJYTL C GUNPB OYJBPW ALYTB LU OYXS LOS UPB HYT YJUNTB. RNL FOST C VUL LU RS LFSTLW-UTS, C FYA YALUTCAOSB YL OUF HNGO OS OYB PSYJTSB CT ASXST WSYJA."--HYJM LFYCT.
Solution to previous puzzle (select the yellow text with your cursor to read):
"When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years."--Mark Twain.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Biden, and Hell hath followed with him. And power was given unto them over the Fourth Estate, to kill with words, and with hunger, and with disease, and with the beasts of the earth.
So true.
I can tell that this CG quote hit a nerve with all of us who are at our wits-end about the current state of America.
It has hit a nerve. To talk with people in everyday life who don’t have a clue about current events and seemingly couldn’t care less is very frustrating. If only half of the people were to show any interest, this country could be put on the right track very quickly.
Penguinhunter,
I went to your profile to see where you live. It must be very difficult to live among so many liberal fools. To your credit, you seem to be holding together and keeping your patriotic beliefs.
My husband and I lived in an Atlanta suburb and even though this was supposed to be the “Bible Belt South, we were surrounded by liberals everywhere we turned. Upon retirement we looked for somewhere to flee to. The Blue Ridge Mountains seemed like a good choice. We are indeed happier here in the mountains. Their are still some on-the-edge invironmental whackos, but generally they tend toward moral values.
The indigenous locals are still traditionally conservative and wonderful neighbors. It’s a great life-style here….. very unpretentious, laid back, neighborly. Sounds boring? Quite the opposite. It’s a very musical community, everything from Classical at the local college and music center to old time, Blue Grass and even Rock if that is your thing. Several great chefs at local restaurants most of which use local produce and meat. There is only one tiny single-screen movie theater here as only the young people care about Hollywood stuff, because there is more exciting outdoor and music stuff to do. Life is ….. well I used to say it is “GOOD”, but knowing what is happening in a lot of the rest of the country, I can’t exactly say that anymore.
To survive living where you are, my advice is to keep your eye and mind on Jesus Christ, until you are able, to move. Until then, may Christ be with you my FRiend until the time is right for you to move.
