A man who was 'hearing voices' smashed his Volkswagen Jetta through the front windows of a souvenir store named 'New England for Trump' in Easton, Massachusetts.
According to a statement from the Easton Police Department, the terrifying moment occurred just after 5:00 pm on Thursday.
Responding officers found a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta crashed in the store with pro-Donald Trump merchandise scattered all around it.
In raw video of the incident, the 1991 Nirvana song 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' can be heard blasting out of the car.
The driver of the car was named by police as Sean Flaherty, 46, of Raynham, Massachusetts.
His friends insist the stunt was the result of a mental health crisis, and not a hatred of the former president - but Flaherty does have an anti-Trump sticker on the rear fender of his car.
A friend of the suspect's told WCVB: 'It had nothing to do with Trump or any political anything. It was just an unfortunate coincidence.'
The friend continued: 'He wasn't in the right sense of mind mentally. He's been going through a lot over the past year.'
A photographer with the Brockton Enterprise newspaper posted photos on Twitter showing the rear of Flaherty's car with at least one showing an anti-Donald Trump sentiment.

Guy’s my age, sad. There are days I’d love to vent, or flip the bird to the houses that had the Biden/Harris signs on their lawns, but those all went down before Christmas 2020. Still see a lot of Trump 2020 flags, and occasional signs where I live, Trump 2024 flags have been regularly spotted on porches as well around here. I hope nobody screws with these people.
A little off topic, there’s someone in my neighborhood who has both a “Dump Trump” and a “You can’t fix stupid” bumper sticker on his vehicle. I saw that coming home from work Friday afternoon and couldn’t help but agree how right the latter sticker was in this person’s case. There was also a couple of weeks back I was driving up in or around Dearborn, MI when I ha the privilege of driving next to a man with several “F*** Trump” bumper stickers, and a few others plastered all over his vehicle. Stable guy right there.
Well I dunno, the left has a lot of mental cases so they could be hearing stuff.

I was visiting my brother a month back, and commented on how many LET’S GO BRANDON flags were on display everywhere. He and his wife both thought Brandon was a local high school football player.

That is a very interesting response, you might like to to watch this clip that I saw just the other day and it was very interesting regarding coincidence & the use of the “term” coincidence instead of explaining problems or “solutions” factually or... not having come to any sort of conclusive observation or proof!
